Mark your calendars for the annual Plenum of the Jewish Council of Public Affairs (JCPA) that will be held in Dallas, Texas from February 20-23, 2010. For the first time in its 65-year history, the Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA), the national umbrella for the Jewish community relations field, and the national umbrella of our local Dallas JCRC, will hold its annual conference – the Plenum – in Dallas. Jewish leadership from around the country will be discussing issues of current importance and engage in deliberation on policy issues.

JCPA is comprised of 14 national Jewish agencies and 124 local JCRCs throughout the country.

Past plenums have featured speakers: U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder; then-Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Sallai Meridor; Supreme Court Justices Stephen Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Antonin Scalia; and Vice President Al Gore.
